What a great story of contrasts -- and the vast gray areas that many of us spend our time in. The Holocaust is a terrible chapter in humanity. It is a struggle to figure out how the world gets into a state where these actions are tolerated and engaged in. Mr. Spiegelman tells two stories of his relationship to an aging father, and his parent's navigating of Holocaust Europe of the 1940s.

Camino 2022

We went to Spain to walk a bit of the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camino_de_Santiago. We went from Pamplona to Lograno -- didn't make it to Compostela ... this time. Each day, we'd wake up, get breakfast, and start walking to the next town. When we arrived, we checked into our lodgings, took a shower and/or a nap. Headed out for dinner, then bed. Then, back at it again the next day. We met many people who were doing the whole journey -- impressive. It takes more weeks more than we could be away. And yet, it'd be nice to try.
